CROP Walk
The Crop Walk (www.churchworldservice.org)  is an organized walk where the participants are sponsored to walk a distance of several miles carrying jugs of water, for example, as women in underdeveloped countries must do in order to provide clean water for their families.  The money raised is used to provide the knowledge and the tools to grow food in communities in underdeveloped countries.  KLCC had 11 walkers and these 11 raised over $1,300 this year.

CWF
Christian Women's Fellowship (CWF) is a group of ladies that meet monthly to organize various bake sales and silent auctions.  The money they raise is donated to the Hope Food Pantry.  The Heifer Project (www.heifer.org) is also one of the fundraisers of CWF.  In 2007, they raised $615 which purchased: 1 heifer, 1 trio of rabbits and 2 flocks of chicks.  The purchased animals are given to families in underdeveloped countries to help the family and the community.  So far this year they have raised $749.14.
